Emma Versions A & B

$10.00 USD

Originally published in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop, Emma Versions A and B is a great introduction for knitters who are new to the Cocoknits Method. With simple stockinette and a gauge of 3 stitches to 1" / 2.5 cm, it knits up quickly and wears like a comfy knitted sweatshirt. Don’t let the simplicity fool you - there’s plenty of room to play! Choose the open v-neck of Version A or the boatneck of Version B; knit it with long or short sleeves; add waist shaping; use a thinner yarn at the same gauge for a drapey, cool fabric - the customizations are limitless. This updated edition has a wider range of sizes (33.25-73.25" / 84.5-186.5 cm bust) and an optional ribbed collar for Version A. Pattern is available in English, French, and Italian.

Before Purchasing This Pattern

This sweater is worked using the Cocoknits Method, a commonsense system for knitting seamless, tailored sweaters from the top down. The Cocoknits Method is explained in detail in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop by Julie Weisenberger, in her On Demand Classes, and in tutorials on cocoknits.com.

All of the page numbers in this pattern refer to pages in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop, where the techniques are explained in detail. Some knitters find that they can learn the new-to-them techniques with our free knit tutorials, while others are more comfortable purchasing an On Demand Class, or the Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book, available on our website and at many local yarn stores.
