Baby Coco

This sweater is worked using the Cocoknits Method, a commonsense system for knitting seamless, tailored sweaters from the top down. The Cocoknits Method is explained in detail in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop by Julie Weisenberger, in her On Demand Classes, and in tutorials on cocoknits.com.

All of the page numbers in this pattern refer to pages in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop, where the techniques are explained in detail. Bread & Butter Everyday

• 100% Merino Wool; 200 yds / 183 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein in Ballpoint [blue, size 1], Lantana [orange, size 2] and Wild Raspberry [pink, size 3]

Needles

• US 8 / 5 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge) circular needle, 32" / 80 cm or longer for body and sleeves (see page 19 for information on needle length). Needle should be long enough to do Magic Loop on Sleeves (or use dpns)
• US 6-7 / 4-4.5 mm (depending on how tight you prefer your ribbing) circular needle, long enough to do Magic Loop on Sleeve ribbing (or use dpns)
• US 4 / 3.5 mm needle for working bind-off
• US 0-2 / 2-2.75 mm dpn or any length circular needle (for picking up stitches)

Notions

• Cocoknits Sweater Worksheet (found at end of pattern)
• 6 stitch markers in different colors
• 4 (4, 4, 5) opening markers (to mark where buttons will be sewn)
• Stitch holders or scrap yarn to hold sleeve stitches

Sleeves

On p. 12, instructions should begin with (currently at the end of p. 11):

• With working needle and long-tail method, CO 6 sts, k28 (30, 32, 34) held Sleeve sts, k3 (half of the CO sts). Pm to indicate the beginning of the round. 34 (36, 38, 40) sts.
