Ruth

$10.00 USD

Ruth strikes the balance between sophistication and comfort. It’s a straightforward Cocoknits method pattern with an incorporated collar, but the magic happens when you cross the front collar stitches, transforming it into a streamlined shawl collar pullover. Side vents add to the ease and wearability of the sweater. Choose a scrumptious yarn and let Ruth envelop you like a hug!

This is a Cocoknits Method pattern.

Before Purchasing This Pattern

This sweater is worked using the Cocoknits Method, a commonsense system for knitting seamless, tailored sweaters from the top down. The Cocoknits Method is explained in detail in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop by Julie Weisenberger.

All of the page numbers in this pattern refer to the pages in Cocoknits Sweater Workshop, where the techniques are explained in detail. Purchase Cocoknits Sweater Workshop or visit your local yarn store.

Errata

Fixed in revised pdf:

On p. 6, Sl 2 knitwise wyif should be replaced with Sl 2 p-wise wyif in the two places it appears.

Join Neckline

On p. 12, the second and third sentences should read:

Sl sts onto dpn or circular needle and hold in front of first 18 (18, 18, 20)(20, 20, 20)(22, 22, 22) sts of row on the left needle. Hold parallel: first st on left needle will sit behind the rightmost band st on the extra needle. [Insert right needle into first st on the left needle, then into the first st on extra needle, knit these two sts together]
