Knitted Four Corner Bags

$6.00 USD

This is the knit version of our Four Corner Bag, with the same shape and nice wide opening. This pattern includes two sizes with three different stitch variations, all perfect for carrying produce, take-out, or yarn. It pairs well with our no-sew, removable, Leather Handle Kit. I came up with this design by folding paper, origami-style, until I was satisfied with how it functioned. Then I translated it into a deceptively simple knitting pattern—the action is really all in the bind off!

Notions

Gauge

10–12 sts and 20 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in St st.

Note: Gauge is not terribly important—it’s more important that you get a fabric that suits you. For a very open fabric, try a larger needle; a smaller needle will yield a tighter fabric and smaller bag.
