Klaus is knitted in one piece starting with the bottom front. Continuing up, stitches are added and then bound off for the sleeves and the sweater continues down the back. Short rows are used to shape the sleeves.

MC: Queensland Collection Kathmandu Aran 85% Merino Wool, 10% Silk, 5% Cashmere, 104 yds per 50 g skein
CC: small amounts as desired
Substitute any heavy worsted yarn with the same gauge.
Needles
Two US 9 circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. (Note: because all sleeve and body sts are knitted at once, it is easiest to work with 2 long circ needles.)

14 sts and 21 rows = 4 in / 10 cm square in St st.
