Using the Cocoknits Notions Holder Collection

The Notions Holder Collection consists of three pieces (Tray, Dish, and Cup) designed to keep your crafty tools organized and close at hand. The hidden magnets make them especially useful for small metal notions, keeping them secure in the even of accidental bumps and spills. Here are a few tips for how we like to use them!

The Basics

1

Magnets, Metal, and PLA

All three Notions Holder pieces are made with 100% biodegradable plant-based PLA. They can be used together or individually.

2

Hold Multiple Notions with the Tray

The Tray measures 4" x 8" x 0.5" (10 x 20 x 1.5 cm) and has 3 embedded magnets.

Use the Tray to hold larger notions like a Yarn Snip, Tape Measure, or Row Counter. The embedded magnets will also hold on to small metal notions like cable needles and stitch markers.

Available in the colors Linen and Fog.

Pro Tips

1

Use Together or Individually

The Tray, Dish, and Cup are sold separately and are designed to be used both individually and together. The Dish can fit on a Tray for additional organization, the Cup can cling magnetically to a Tray or Dish for added stability, and all three can be stacked together.

2

Secure the Cup with the Tray or Dish

The Cup has a metal base so it can stick to either the Tray or Dish for extra stability: load it up with DPNs, crochet hooks, pencils, scissors, and more without worrying about it toppling over.

3

Easily Retrieve Stitch Markers

The raised edge of the Dish and Tray are perfectly angled to allow stitch markers to slip smoothly and easily up the side.

4

Add a Maker's Clip to the Cup

To give the Cup a magnetic component, add on a Maker's Clip! This is a great way to hold easy-grab notions like a Row Counter or stitch markers.

5

Use the Magnets!

The real magic of the Notions Hold Set is in the embedded magnets. Cocoknits tools are made to cling to magnets, so you can toss your tools onto the Tray (or Dish) knowing they'll stay put event if an over-eager hand or diabolical pet knocks it over.
