I love working cables but I don’t love wearing them, so then it became a challenge to design a cabled sweater that I would wear. Mishke is the result: cables done cocoknits’ style, completely askew and seamless.

Needles

  • US 7 / 4.5 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge; long circ (35" or longer) are easiest to accommodate all sts
  • US 7/ 4.5 mm long circ or dpn for magic loop for sleeves

18 sts and 25 rows = 4 in / 10 cm square in St st.

Errata

Join for Yoke

On p. 8, the second from the last paragraph should read:

  • On WS work as est across Left Front sts, *on WS of sleeve, p1, PM, p1 work in est rib to last 2 sts, p1, PM, p1,** work as est across Back sts, repeat from * to ** for second sleeve, work as est across WS Right Front sts.

In an earlier version of the pattern, on p. 10, this should have read:

  • Reattach yarn and on RS of Back:
  • Row 1: k1, sssk, work as est to 4 sts before m, k3tog, k1, turn, leaving sleeve sts on hold.
