For body - approx. 300 yds/ 274 m feltable wool yarn, bulky weight
For bottom - approx 100 yds/ 92 m feltable wool yarn, super bulky weight - OR - 200 yds/ 183 m worsted weight used double
any feltable wool leftovers for optional stripes

US 11/ 8 mm circ (32 in/ 81 cm or longer)
US 11/ 8 mm dpns or second US 11/ 8 mm circ needle

Fabric (optional)

½ yard of 48” or wider fabric. (See Amy Butler for fabric) Matching thread, pins, sewing needle or sewing machine. Paper bag and pencil for tracing pattern.
