In the first class, students will create the beginning of an Emma sweater with the bulky yarn they’ve swatched and complete Section I: Upper Back. The instructor will give an overview of the Cocoknits Method of knitting top-down sweaters.
Note: The piece started in the first class is a practice piece and is a useful large swatch. After the class, students may then (as homework) cast on again with their desired final project yarn to repeat and reinforce what they’ve learned.
