Cocoknits Sweater Workshop - 2 session class

Learn to knit a sweater the Cocoknits way! In this two-part class, you will learn how to knit a top-down sweater with the Cocoknits Method: a unique seamless method that is convenient as raglan, but looks and fits like set-in sleeves! (i.e. sits perfectly on the shoulders without needing to sew together separately knit pieces. Think faster, easier, and better fit!) Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book included with class - that’s nine different sweater designs! You can choose whichever sweater from the book you want to make for the class (except for Lizzie, Tilda, and Tallulah). After learning the Cocoknits Method, you will be able to make every pattern in the Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book, plus many more sweaters in the Cocoknits collection. It’s all in the shoulder construction! You will learn how to: KLL, KRL, PLL, PRL, pick up stitches the Cocoknits way, and use Cocoknits worksheets and stitch markers You must already know how to: Cast on, knit, purl, make one left (m1l) and make one right (m1r). Homework: You MUST do a gauge swatch before class! This is very important! Come into the shop at least three days before class to get your book and supplies, choose your pattern, and complete the homework. All yarn must be purchased at Cast Away for this class. Required materials: yarn & needles that your chosen pattern calls for, colored Cocoknits stitch markers, spare double pointed needle in a small size (US 3–5), pencil with eraser, paper for notes.
