Juniper

This vest is worked using a modified Cocoknits Method, a commonsense system for knitting seamless, tailored sweaters from the top down. Juniper does not require the Cocoknits Worksheet, but does require an understanding of the first two sections of the Cocoknits Method.

Needles

• US 10, 10.5, or 11 / 6, 6.5, or 8 mm(or size needed to obtain gauge) 32”/ 80 cm or longer circular, or long straight needles
• US 10-11 / 6-8 mm short circular needle or dpns for working I-cord ties (optional)
• US 5 / 3.75 mm needle for working bind-off
• US 0-3 / 2-3.25 mm double-pointed needle or any length circular needle for picking up stitches

Notions

• 8 Stitch markers - including 4 opening markers
• Row counter (optional, but the rows are very hard to see in such textured yarn - so recommended!)

Version A: 11 sts = 4” / 10 cm in St st on largest needles
Version B : 9 sts = 4” / 10 cm in St st on largest needles

NOTE: Row gauge for both versions is 16 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st on largest needles. It is not terribly important, if it is too difficult to measure, follow directions for measurement rather than row count where it is given.
