A clean, simple little cardigan with split cuff detailing and hidden waist shaping. The ribbing nicely shows off the marbled effect of the Malabrigo yarn.

NOTE: Because this is a ribbed and open cardigan design, you will get a range of sizing. The first measurement is with the rib pattern relaxed and unstretched, the second measurement is what the cardigan will stretch to.

Materials
Yarn
5 (5, 5, 6) skeins Malabrigo (100% Merino wool, 100g/ 216 yards) sample knitted in color 117 Verde Adriana.
Needles
24" or longer circular # 8 and a set of #8 dpn or second circular #8 and cable needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions
There is no buttonhole in the pattern; I use a brooch to close this cardigan. You could add a button-hole to the right front band if desired.
Gauge
Using #8 needles and 2 × 2 rib stitch unstretched 20 sts in 4", slightly stretched 15 sts in 4".
26 rows in 4" relaxed (unstretched).
